1946 : Rosenberg start Luncheon services.
1950 : The first Dunkin’ Donuts store is opened in Quincy,
Massachusetts.
1955 : The first Dunkin’ Donuts franchise is sold.
1967 : The company grows to 300 stores with US$ 44 million
in sales.
1968 : Dunkin’ Donuts goes public.
1985 : The first Dunkin’ Donuts Indonesia store is opened at
JL. Hayam Wuruk, Jakarta.
1990 : Dunkin’ Donuts is purchased by Allied Domecq
(formerly Allied – Lyons) of Great British.
1996 : Global growth continues with the opening of the first
Dunkin’ Donuts store in Spain, Poland, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, China, Russia,
Peru, Israel and Greece.
1998 : Introduction of Dunkin’ Donuts international coffee
center offering a wide range of exciting coffee drinks such as coffee coollata,
flavored coffee and whole range of espresso – based coffee.
1999 : Dunkin’ Donuts sells its 8 billion cup of coffee
since opening in 1950.
2005 : Dunkin’ Donuts set a record breaking sales US$5
billion during 2005-2006 fiscal year.
2006 : The 1st Dunkin’ Café introduced in Indonesia at Mall
Taman Anggrek, Jakarta.
2007 : Dunkin’ Donuts was ranked 2nd in the
entrepreneur top 500 franchises issue. Dunkin’ Donuts has more 7900 restaurants
in 30 countries world wide. Dunkin’ Donuts America’s largest retailer of coffee by the cup,
serving 1 billion cups of brewed coffee every year or approximately 2,7 million
cups a day.
2011 : Dunkin’ Donuts Group Ina. announces IPO at a price of
US$ 19 per share on July 26th trading on NASDAQ under the symbol
“DKNN”. Dunkin’ Donuts earned the no. 1 ranking for customer loyalty in the
coffee category by brand keys for fifth year in a row.
